So me and Kelli went to the Secondhand Serenade concert last night. Funny thing is, we didn't even watch Secondhand Serenade.
Okay, so let me start over. Kelli and I bought tickets for Secondhand Serenade a couple months ago for early entry into the park. We got to Thanksgiving Point super early yesterday and were like the third people in "early" line. It was awesome. Anyway, after sitting for a couple hours we FINALLY got in and were right in the front. That was also awesome. Until we got mauled by sweaty people. Seriously, I was drenched in sweat...and it probably wasn't even my own. That wasn't so awesome.
First up was a band called Single File. Never heard of them before.

Next up was We Shot the Moon. They were very very good.

Parachute came on next and OH MY GOODNESS...they were AMAZING. They seriously rocked! I'm pretty much in love.

Right after they were through performing, I tapped the security guy on the shoulder and asked him kindly if he would get me out of here. I did not even care that I would be missing Secondhand Serenade. I hadn't come to listen to him anyway. Kelli and I jumped the fence with the assistance of Mr. Security Guard, ran back to Parachute's merch table, bought a cd and waited patiently in line for them. I about passed out when they showed up. And then I about had a heart attack when it was finally our turn for autographs and pictures :] They were super sweet and nice and lovely and wonderful.

I squealed the whole way home. Yes, squealed.
Pretty much it was the best night ever.

happy friday!
Well well well...its been awhile since I've shown this blog some love.
First off, I just have to say that Google Reader is the best.
I'm in love with this man's artwork.
I love this swimsuit that I just got yesterday!
And sketchbooks rock. I just bought like four of them and I guarantee I'll use them right up. Right now, I'm using one for my quote/picture book. I love quotes and I've had the hardest time finding a fun way to keep them (somewhat) organized. This sketchbook does the trick.

Also, as of late, I've been obsessed with fabric. After much contemplating, I ordered this fabric that I've been in love with and I about DIED when I went to the mailbox today and found it waiting for me! Seriously, I've been in love with the Heather Ross Mendocino collection since it first came out. I finally splurged and bought enough of it to make a quilt with. I can't wait!
I had to control myself so I wouldn't buy anymore fabric...this store has the cutest fabric!
And can I just say that getting packages in the mail is the best! Its like Christmas all over again!

Well I'm out!
I'll leave you with my new favorite song at the moment!
i want her dress.
and i want to dress up in balloons
and white tights
and dance around in clouds of colored smoke. :]
Have a fabulous weekend! :]

i really miss him today.
He'd kill me if he knew I had uploaded this. Good thing he never has a chance to look at my blog. :] And good thing he doesn't even know how to get to my blog if he wanted to. :] In fact, I don't think he even knows I have a blog. Tricky, tricky. Anyway, this is a song by our favorite band Coldplay. The song is called "A Rush of Blood to the Head." It's amazing.

i used to rule the world...
This past weekend my love and I went to see Coldplay. Andy bought our tickets months ago and we had been anxiously waiting. OH MY GOODNESS! They were amazing, spectacular, phenomenal!!! I can't wait til they come again so we can go see them again! We are poor college students so we could only afford the cheap seats (which were still $50+ a piece) but we still got really good seats. Well, we had the best of the cheapest seats, if that makes any sense. We decided that when we are rich we are going to go again and get front row seats. I can't wait!
